Greenhouse heating can be tricky as the room is generally open and the walls have little to no insulation. When it’s not sunny outside or temperature drops below 15°C, extra heating is required.

Our Slovenian partner “Pilremag d.o.o.” possess greenhouse with almost 5000 square meters surface area. Previous heating was done by oil burner but due to high fuel costs the burner had to be replaced. We installed a 700kW burner in front of existing boiler. The heating is done by network of hot water pipes that radiate heat. The network of pipes is about 30km long and there are series of pumps and valves that regulate the continious flow of water.

In this project our ash cyclone was also installed to reduce the emissions of ash particles. The cleaning of the boiler, burner and cyclone is done regularly depending on the season and need on heat.
